In February we toured the CBC newsrooms, including news sets, control rooms and radio booths. Many of our members have been CBC listeners for years, and were thrilled to see the Anchors’ offices and visit the studios from where all the reporting begins. 
Our visit to the Downtown library next door included the Inspiration Lab, where digitization of various (older) media was underway. The size and complexity of the building itself was stunning.
Members also explored the newly renovated Post Office Building, where several found lunch while others went to various restaurants in the area.
