Bard on the Beach: The Merry Wives of Windsor, August 30th, 2026

Once again, the 3 North Shore PROBUS clubs joined together this summer to enjoy a performance of Bard on the Beach. The play was the Merry Wives of Windsor. In this version, Bard on the Beach cleverly made Windsor a Rec Centre in Vancouver and the merry wives were soccer Moms! It was Bard’s homage to the FIFA tournament taking place in our city.
The day began with a bus ride over the bridge; lunch al fresco catered by The Lazy Gourmet, and a welcome chat from Artistic Director, Christopher Gaze. The play was hilarious and a good time was had by all!
